Long Eaton’s Chestnut Fair cancelled for 2026 as High Street works continue
High Street regeneration works mean November’s Chestnut Fair will not go ahead. Organisers say it will return to Long Eaton in 2027.
Long Eaton’s Chestnut Fair will not take place this November because of ongoing regeneration works in High Street.
The cancellation was confirmed in a joint statement from fair organiser Mellors Group and Erewash Borough Council, published on 12 October. The statement acknowledges the disappointment for people who enjoy the annual street fair and says it will return to Long Eaton in 2027.
